SUMMARY:
To deliver Application support and deployment services for part of a given business area to countries/ functions, in order to ensure the maximum availability of these services to the business and the smooth deployment of new or improved services with minimal disruption to business continuity.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provides advice, both reactively and pro-actively, to those engaged in activities where candidate's technical knowledge is applicable
  • Investigates problems and other requests for support and determine appropriate actions. Ensures that requests for support are properly logged, assigned and responded to in a timely manner and according to agreed standards and procedures. Ensures users and other interested parties are kept informed of progress and that corrective action is taken to avoid or minimize delays in accordance with SLAs
  • Subject of the technical specialize can be an IS technology, technique, method, product or application area; Technical infrastructure; Technical architecture; Information architecture and database design; Application architecture and design; Development methods and tools.
  • Liaises with staff responsible for the development of system enhancements to overcome known problems.  Finding new ways to get best use out of existing DHL technologies and exploit emerging technologies, so that products are easier and less costly to support and deploy
  • Spotting potential problems early and taking pro-active action to stop them occurring and/or having a major disruptive impact


REQUIREMENTS:
  • Educated to degree level (Computer Science or related field) or holds a professional qualification
  • Previous experience with support & analysis is a must
  • Certified and 6 years experience in FileNet P8 administration (Content Manager, BPM, Workflow)  and BPF Knowledge
  • Expert in Weblogic knowledge
  • Intermediate Windows, Redhat knowledge and Intermediate PL/SQL/Oracle
  • Experience as a Technical Trainer, Super User, Technical Operator, Field Operations, Service Desk Agent or IT dependant function
  • English communication both oral and written
  • Project management experience would be an advantage
