The General Ledger function begins with the opening of an accounting period and ends with the period close, reconciliation and the reporting of results based on client´s policies.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining procedures and transaction processing
- Ensuring timely processing, recording & posting of journal entries and ensuring resolution of interface issues
- Overseeing assigned reconciliations & resolution of reconciling items
- Oversee preparation of Balance Sheet and bank reconciliations
- Review and maintenance of predefined standard and management reports (e.g. consolidation/management/statutory reporting)
- Resolution of General Ledger inquiries
- Ensure compliance with Corporate Policies
- Archiving, Records Retention and Audit Support
Requirements:
- Advanced Italian, communicative English
- High school/university degree
- Good accounting knowledge
- Analytical skills, responsibility, accuracy and respect of detail
- MS Office applications skills is a must, Excel very good knowledge advantage, Oracle advantage
- Ability to solve urgent matters and work under pressure
- Positive approach to problem solving
